Bladen commissioners: Clarkton to host 'mini World Series' (The Fayetteville Observer)
March 11, 2010What happened: Marsha Burney, chairwoman of Clarkton Dixie Youth Baseball, told the board on Monday that Clarkton will host a "mini World Series tournament" for players ages 8 and under in July. The field will be made up of teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee.
